History
The Company was established in 1980 under the name GENCO. In a small workshop, it pioneered the design and building of the first Italian shelf support inserting machine.
It was the time when wall systems were developed in the field of furnishing.
Then the Company changed its name into:
GECOM SRL- Tecnologie per l'arredamento.
In a new location, it started to extend its range of products by designing and building machines for the most various fields of application to serve customers with special requirements.

At the request of some leading Italian furnishing companies, the following machines were designed and manufactured:
- Full door processing lines
- Panel frame inserting machines (also on 4 edges)
- Dust cover inserting machines
- Customised drilling machines
- Drilling and shelf support inserting lines
- Automatic package sorting/storage systems
- Continuous cardboard packaging systems (EU patented)
- Use of forced air sources to produce wind power (patented)
